The DA 22-Series has been designed for safety critical applications under extreme
environmental conditions. Since early 2009 all gears of the internal power gear train are exclusively made of hardened steel for
highest possible robustness and minimized wear off.
DA 22 stands for Digital Actuator
in the 22 mm class, the following digits specify the nominal voltage
(06 / 12 / 30 Volts) and the last digits represent a specific version.
The design of the DA 22 PCB has strongly been influenced by Saab Aerospace when they developed
FILUR,
their low signature UAV. They required actuators with minimized deflection under highest load and integrated oscillating/flutter suppression.
The DA 22 PCB met these challenging requirements.
We offer our DA 22 actuators in a short and long case version - the longer being more powerful, i.e. offering higher continuous torque
capabilities (endurance- and vibration tests on request).
Both versions of the all CNC machined cases comply with IP 67 standard for water /dust resistance.
All actuators are fully programmable using our special programming tool.
