Volz’ OPV servo range is based on well proven standard Volz servos. The OPV versions feature a toothless electromagnetic clutch allowing the pilot to disengage or engage the servos when required. All servos feature external position sensing which is a unique feature in the market. With a new internal design (patent pending) the servos no longer require the external sensor mount known from previous Volz OPV servos. The avoidance of the external sensor mount is lowering the part count including electronics and in consequence is increasing the overall reliability and MTBF. To also withstand high environmental requirements (DO 160 G) the servos are all rated to IP 67 standard.
The servos can be adapted to customer requirements, from fixation points to connectors and arms to interfaces.
